The much awaited day finally was captured by DAV Kalinga. Ayushi Mohapatra not only became the state joint topper but also the DAV National Topper. The result is certainly a Red Letter Day, for DAV Kalinga and Ayushi both. The elegance of this school rose to eminence with Ayushi blazing high with 98.4% in class -X CBSE Board Exam. They say this superlative success is a part of our coordinated efforts. What move ? Hard work pays; taste of time says.
Since success has no short cuts, at DAV Kalinga Area we believe in honest and earnest hard work in the military fashion. Excellence in education rather meaningful education is our priority. In our successive years of success, the school students appeared their first AISSE and AISSCE in 2000 and 2002 respectively. The Commerce stream appeared its first AISSCE in 2007. History has kept repeating itself and every year, the students of this hallowed institution are achieving new heights and dimensions. An analysis of Board Results clearly reveals the increasing academic potential of the students in the remote coal-belt area of the state. Toppers of the school are unfailingly bagging positions in the state merit list too.
